EDITABLE means that you can open the PDF Planner on your computer or any device with anything and fill in the fields by typing instead of writing (which you can also do, by the way). No aspect of the document design or pre-existing text can be edited. 

The Journal is delivered as a PDF file that is as easy to edit as a word document. You don't even need Adobe Acrobat to edit the pdf. :)
